My kids love board games. ?We really enjoy having family game night as well. ?It?s a great way to bond and spend time together. ?We all have fun and look forward to it each week. ?So, I was excited to work with Poof-Slinky! ?They carry a large variety of family friendly toys and games, many made in the US. ?I was sent the Slinky Song Musical Box?and the Our America Board Game.

The boys loved the slinky! ?I loved that the box played the classic slinky jingle when you lifted the lid. ?Boy, did that bring?back?memories! ?I enjoyed playing with a slinky when I was little and it?s fun to watch my boys have fun with it now. ?In the age of electronics, it?s nice to see the kids so enthralled by a simple, classic toy.

We were all excited to play the Our America game. ?My husband set it up and after a quick run through of the directions, we were ready to play. ?I liked that it was fairly simple and not too complicated. ?Some games have so many rules and side notes that it takes the fun out of playing. ?This game is based on American history and is for ages 8 and up. ?My almost 7-year-old was on my husband?s team though and enjoyed reading the questions and moving the pawn.

You advance in the game by answering multiple choice questions. ?This was a plus since some of the questions are harder than others. ?By having multiple choices, the kids(and adults!) have a chance of getting it right. ?My 9-year old was so excited when he got the very first question right. ?My hubby wasn?t so lucky when his turn came ?We all really enjoyed the game. ?It was not only fun to play but it helped teach about American history. ?Gotta love a game that?s both enjoyable and educational!
